Located inside the Skipjack Art Studios at 329 Cannon Street Chestertown MD, the Skipjack Gallery of Fiber Art, will be a showcase for all types of fiber art and the artists who create it. The mission of the Skipjack Gallery of Fiber Art is to study the history of fiber and textile production and to encourage the creative use of fibers through educational classes, lectures and visual displays.

This is a call for local fiber artists to participate in this gallery and includes any artist who creates with fibers: fabric, yarn, wool, floss, thread, lace, ribbon, rope, felt, paper and more.
